Love it or loathe it, you can’t deny the importance of Google in the modern world.
Perhaps more startling, and reflective on the meteoric rise in search engine usage, is that Google has only been around for eight years.
The precise date of its birthday appears to fluctuate, as it has been on the 7th September for the past two years, but judging by the Google image on the homepage today, we can assume that today is the official day:
