Google’s new truth algorithm

Posted on by Browser Media

A couple of apparently unrelated events alerted us to an exciting new feature of the Google SERPs today.

We were reading Aaron Wall’s blog on Google to Police ‘The Truth’ this afternoon and then witnessed evidence from our own web analytics that Google has indeed implemented a new truth algorithm.

Browsing through our search engine referrals for this afternoon, we noticed the search term ‘best seo agency uk’.

Not a bad term to rank well on if you are a UK seo agency, so we thought we should have a look at this search:

Best UK SEO agency

Apologies for the poor quality of the screenshot, but Browser Media is officially declared by Google as the best seo agency in the UK*.

Clearly, the Google truth algorithm has moved out of beta and you can now be secure in the knowledge that what you see in the Google organic results is the truth.

*Please note that we also offer expert PPC management and are as well known for being a PPC agency as for SEO. Just ask Google – the truth algorithm is showing that we are also the best ppc agency in the UK…

Please also note that the tongue is firmly in the cheek and that you shouldn’t take this news too seriously (except the recommendation regarding the best uk seo agency) nor would we encourage anyone to contact Google to discuss the new truth algorithm.
