Five things worth sharing from the last week or so, brought to you by a different member of the Browser Media team every Friday.
This week’s My Five is by Vic.
Google has released a limited beta of Google 360 Suite – a mega version of Google Analytics that (according to them) can do all of this jazzy stuff:
This is only going to be available to Google Analytics Premium and Adometry users, so unless you are a massive brand, don’t get too excited – it’s unlikely you’ll ever be able to use the new platform.
GOOD has published a video highlighting global inequality. Based on data from the CIA’s World Factbook, some clever maths person has calculated what the world would look like if it was made up of only 100 people.
If the world’s population was shrunk down to 100 people, 13 people are without access to clean water, and 23 would have no shelter. Shockingly, just one person would control 50% of the money. Eeesh.
When I moved into my new home, one of my friends had written ‘hello’ on an egg and left it on my windowsill. This creeped me out as, for months, I had no idea who put the egg there.
This guy moved into a new house and was opening up the fireplace when he found a slightly unnerving note, and tracked down the person who left it with rather lovely results:
If you were a child of the 80s, you’ll remember The Paul Daniels Magic Show well. I flipping loved it. I remember him doing magic tricks that blew my tiny mind. He was also the genius behind Wizbit – a demented looking yellow cone with eyebrows that detach from his face. Ah, memories.
Paul Daniels died this week, and he really was a memorable part of my childhood (as was the lovely Debbie McGee). NME did a round-up of some of his most awesome moments, which is well worth a ganders too.
Rest in peace, Magic Man!
For those of you unfamiliar with Kingsley, he’s the Partick Thistle mascot, designed by David Shrigley. He looks like this, and he was on the lookout for love:

He went on a date with a lovely human woman and they had a great time.
