August 2011 search engine share data, Google shows slight decline

Latest statistics from comScore show that Google’s share of the U.S. search engine market has dipped for the first time since September 2009. Bebo launches live video chat service, bChat

AOL unveils Project Phoenix

This week, AOL unveiled Project Phoenix an updated web e-mail client. Google search share up, paid clicks decrease

Google continued to increase its US search market share last month, according figures from comScore. The search engine’s share of the market rose from 58.5% to 59.2% in February; while rivals Microsoft and Yahoo saw their figures drop slightly. New figures have been published by Nielsen / NetRatings which show that Google has increased its market share of the UK search market, with 68% of UK click-throughs in August, a 2.8% rise from February.
