Google Instant goes mobile

It was back in September when Google first announced they were planning to bring Google Instant to mobile devices and have this week launched the beta version, available to US iPhone and Android users (running Android 2.2 or Apple iOS 4.0). Eric Schmidt outlines a speedy future for Google

European mobile search market grows by 38%

The mobile search market grew by 38% in Europe year on year in June, while gains in the US market were more impressive, with the number of people searching via mobile rising by 68% compared with June 2007’s figures.
