Search engine Yahoo has decided to reject Microsoft’s $44.6bn US dollar (£22.4bn) offer for the company, according to reports. Yahoo’s Q3 financial results are encouraging for the company, with display ad revenues growing, and overall revenues for the quarter rising by 12% to around $1.77bn (£866m). Yahoo President Susan Decker said that the company’s global display ads growth exceeded expectations, with display ad revenues rising by 20% over the same period last year.
